Perhaps one of the most important aspect of a mobile safari is your guide. He will be your constant companion and mentor and is responsible for every aspect of your safari, including your safety.

Andre van Vuuren is a Director of Destination Africa (Pty) Ltd. Botswana and a registered tour guide with FGASA (Field Guides Association of Southern Africa). He is a Botswana resident with a Botswana work permit. He holds a MBA degree in marketing as well as B.Sc. Honors in Economics. He used to be a professional International Banker. Andre used to be an Honorary Game Ranger of the South African National Parks. Andre is also a 4X4 vehicle driving instructor (accredited by South Africa Track & Training), a qualified first aider, member of the Endangered Wildlife Trust and a member of the Wildlife Trust of Southern Africa. He knows the Okavango Delta exceptionally well and has 15 years experience of overland safaris into Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique.

Dirk Visagie is a Director of Destination Africa (Pty) Ltd. Botswana and a registered tour guide with FGASA (Field Guides Association of Southern Africa). He is a Botswana resident with a Botswana work permit. He holds a B.Sc. Degree in Geology, is a consulting geologist and the owner of B'rakhah 4X4 in Pietersburg (a company that deals with all aspects of wildlife and safari's). Dirk used to be a Honorary Game Ranger of the South African National Parks, is a member of the Endangered Wildlife Trust, a 4X4 vehicle driving instructor (accredited by South African Track & Training) and a bird and birding fanatic.
